Ten Printables For Homeschooling Parents

Screen time checklists

Creating your homeschooling curriculum can get a little spendy. Did you know that there are multiple resources available for home learning such as homeschooling printables?

What is a printable? Printables are digital products delivered electronically. They usually arrive soon after purchase in pdf form. They are easy peasy to order. Simply find the printable you want, purchase, retrieve product through email or account (If on Etsy), download and print.

Some printables are for one-time use and some are to be used over and over again such as flashcards, games, and bookmarks. Laminating your long-term use products can help them last longer.

To save you time and provide you with some fun ideas I’ve compiled ten printable learning choices including a few from my Soul To Soul With Carol Etsy store.

All ten ideas are from Etsy. Let’s support small businesses together!

Tip: When you find a printable you really like, favorite that store. That way you’ll receive notices when they have sales. I personally like to send out coupons regularly to my customers and I know other store owners do to.

The following ideas are not only great for homeschooling families. They also work great for Montessori and teachers too!

Screen Time Checklists - Screentime can sometimes become stressful or a battle with your young one. Instead of battling it out, encourage checking off daily activities and making it fun. Each week pick a fun theme to change it up. Write in each week how much screentime your child has earned.

10 Themes To Choose From; Halloween, Space, Winter, Farm, Summer Fun, North Pole, Play, Dinosaurs, Under The Sea, and Unicorns.

Screentime checklists are a great way to begin teaching about responsibility and choices. These themes are designed for ages 3-7. Keep goals & rewards age-appropriate and take the stress out.

Upper and Lowercase Alphabet Worksheets - Fun for Preschool or Kindergarten Students.

26 sheets, tracing, coloring, and letter recognition.

Fungi Digital Bundle - Fungi learning cards. This file can be printed at home, at your local print shop, or with your favorite online printer such as Vista Print, Shutterfly, Amazon Prints, Overnight Prints, Snapfish, etc.  Here’s a fun one for grade-schoolers, teens, or even high school students. Print and laminate for long-term use. To create a themed course add in learning about Fungi by watching the movie Fantastic Fungi. The visuals are stunning! Fantastic Fungi, directed by Louie Schwartzberg, is a consciousness-shifting film that takes us on an immersive journey through time and scale into the magical earth beneath our feet, an underground network that can heal and save our planet. Middle schoolers and high schoolers could incorporate a report on Paul Staments. There is numerous info available online about his journey learning about mushrooms, his experience helping his mom beat cancer, and how his passion turned into creating a desirable product. He even has a Tedtalk.

Moon Phase Worksheets - Moon Phases Learning Pack. Phases of the Moon worksheets, nomenclature cards, education cards, posters, labels activity, word search. Make gazing at the night sky even more interesting for a child by helping identify the eight phases of the moon. Perfect addition to studying night sky for school or homeschool.

These materials are great for an ecology unit study with preschool, kindergarten, or early elementary school-aged children! It is also a shape matching game, helping kids to identify shapes and learn new shapes in an engaging way! Simply laminate the cards and add velcro dots and get your little one to match each shape to the outline on the flashcard.

Farm Activities For Preschoolers - 6 Farm-themed activities to support cognitive and fine motor skills. Washing farm animals, sorting fruits, vegetable garden activity, shapes, farm vs ocean, cutting and coloring farm puzzles.

8 Beginning Sounds Fall Themed Coloring Pages - These coloring learning pages are perfect for home or school. Practice sounds then match each picture. Find the alphabet letter that the picture begins with and circle it. Coloring for eye-hand coordination and creativity.

Fall-themed but great for all year round.
