The outcome of parenting is not important? I don't understand that at all. It sounds like a way to justify total failure and to shrug off results like unhappy or anti-social children.
I'm sure there is more to it than that. I hope?
Hi DaddyNumberOne, are you referring to this part?
"I really loved that throughout The Conscious Parent, Shefali reaffirms the process of parenting and life is more important than the outcome."
What this means is Shefali really focuses on in her book the whole parenting process. Not just the end results but what we learn as parents through our day to day parenting experiences. All of it counts, how present we are with our children, what we demonstrate to them, etc. etc, not just whether they grow up to succeed in societies eyes. We are living our lives and we are learning and growing as parents as we go along.
