Thank You, Angels! Children's Book Review & Giveaway

We were tagged in a literacy meme by Grace over at Going Going Gone Green

It is a great meme because it supports literacy. If you read books then you may be tagged next.
Here are the rules for the Meme:
1. Take a picture of the books you are reading currently and add them to your post.
2. Describe the books and if you are enjoying them.
3. For every book you are reading, you have to tag one person.
4. Leave the person a comment letting them know you tagged them.
We just finished reading
this awesome children's
picture book for a review.

Thank You, Angels! By: Doreen Virtue, PH.D. With Kristina Tracy
Illustrated By Patricia Keeler

Thank You, Angels! Is a brilliant book to be used as a stepping stone for building a child's foundation on how to engage in a relationship with their angels.

The illuminated examples of everyday readily available angels vividly shows children how all they have to do is just ask for their angels and they are there. It teaches them how to easily look, listen and feel for angel signs.

On the last page Doreen and Tracy ask the children, " What is the only thing angels want in return?"
Do you know what it is?
It is just three little eloquent powerful words!

Review by Stacy Toten and Carol Lawrence

We are tagging Leigh Harris author of Metaphysical Mom (And Dad) and passing this meme onto her.

"Earthquakes, Earth and You" By Maureen Moss

Here is Maureen's newest article. I was so moved by it I just had to share it with all of you! Love to all, Carol

BRAND NEW ARTICLE:
"Earthquakes, Earth and You"
Maureen Moss

Dearest Hearts,

As always I pray you are well.

For the past several days I have been awakened around 4:00AM to just sit and be still (not write) and contemplate where we are as a species and as a planet, and what it means to watch, not just realize, that the world as we have known it is ending with a big bang, just as it began.

I'd thought about writing, many an early morning as so much awareness and feelings were coming up at rapid speed, but realized I needed to feel into all of the feelings before doing so. I have had so many conflicting feelings I wasn't certain which were mine, which were from the mass consciousness and which were as a result of all of the geophysical activity.

I soon realized they were all mine. There was no separation or parceling it out. I was to be with all of it.

One minute tension, the next tears. Confusion followed by clarity, peace followed by unrest, feeling raw and then feeling like a butterfly must feel when it's first drying off and begins to realize it is about to begin a brand new existence. Where to fly first?

For me, I wasn't quite sure what to do, how to be, or what to think. I was all over the boards, and just needed to be, without judgment about myself until I landed somewhere. And then came the monstrous earthquake, and I seemed to land.

When the earthquake in Japan hit with such velocity, the only thing I could think about was how brave my brothers and sisters across the globe were to have complied, at some level, to help the rest of the world wake up (again) more fully to the only thing that matters, love, and to the only expression that will get us from one world to the next, love.

Though this certainly wasn't the first event attempting to garner our attention, it was a massive one that could not and cannot be ignored, with more to come. We will be reminded over and over and over again until we get that the only reason we are here, is to love.

Though there are rumors that Japan's earthquake was "man-made," and others, that reported otherwise, it's irrelevant to a large degree and another distraction. At the end of the day, it's still about us that are left standing in the moment, being made ready to be birthed into a completely different life, where love rules above and beyond all else.

When Fear Turns Into An Anxiety Problem By: Yvonne Perry

When Fear Turns into an Anxiety Problem
By Yvonne Perry
(Updated March 2014)

It’s normal for early school age children to develop fears of insects, reptiles, strangers, and other tangible things they can see or touch. But, some kids, including teenagers, are afraid of intangible things such as the ghosts they are able to see, hear, and sense. More and more intuitive kids today are reporting their psychic abilities and the disturbances that accompany such activity.

Is your child getting visual images, having dreams, or sensing something isn’t quite right? This intuitive insight can help you redirect him by listening and offering to help him end his unhealthy relationship or association with an entity. However, young children may have trouble communicating their feelings, fears, and distresses. You may have to look for other indicators. Clinginess and sudden outbursts of anger are signs that your child is worried about something. If your intuitive teenager who normally does well at school suddenly becomes fearful or starts missing school or doing poorly on exams, he or she may have developed anxiety due to a paranormal experience that he or she is afraid to discuss with you.

Empathic children who see, feel, and hear in another dimension can be adversely affected by this energetic overload. An empath is sensitive to what is obvious as well as unseen things such as ghosts and the thoughts, emotions, and illnesses they sense around them. Empaths may get hunches, see mental pictures, hear voices, or have a gut feeling that supplies hidden information about people and situations. They may also get a physical sensation in their body that lets them know where another person is afflicted or suffering.

Letter from Louise Hay in regards to recent earthquakes and tsumani in Japan.

Here's a really heartwarming letter from Louise Hay that she posted on Facebook

" Regarding the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, we can see this as a frightening time, or you can see these problems as opportunities to create healing. How you choose to use your mind is up to you. You can add to the problem or you can help heal it.

When I hear of any crises in the world, I immediately surround the whole situation with white light. I send love and healing energy to everyone connected with it. I suggest everyone take a moment today to close your eyes, and send love and healing energy to the people of Japan.

I seldom reads newspapers or watch TV news. I refuse to clutter my mind with most media turbulence. The media is good at stirring up our emotions and selling fear. If you read a newspaper from cover to cover every day, you’ll live in fear. They want you to buy a new paper each day to find out what to be afraid of that day. It’s the same with the television news. If you want to sleep poorly, watch the late-night news just before you go to sleep.

So, know that we each live under the law of our own consciousness. You are a beautiful, wonderful creation of Life. Your strength comes from your connection to Source. Living in constant gratitude and appreciation brings good into our lives.

For those who wish to send a financial contribution, my understanding is that the best organization that is doing the most good right now, is the Red Cross. To donate, go to www.redcross.org.

Let’s you and I, every time the thought of unrest in Japan comes to mind, say with conviction:
ALL IS WELL. OUT OF THIS EXPERIENCE ONLY GOOD WILL COME. I SEND WAVES OF PEACE, SAFETY AND HARMONY FOR ALL OF LIFE.

— I love you,"

Louise
