Free Flowing Child

Free Flowing Child

All children are spiritual beings that have come to have a human experience. We know each parent wants to have their belief system instilled in their children. We just ask you to allow and not shut off other avenues of exploration for them. Inspired children can think outside of themselves.

What works for you now may not work for your children twenty years from now. No one knows what will be needed in our future. That's why living in the moment is so valuable!

When you are raising a free-flowing child you are brick by brick building their foundation. A foundation is his or her rock! It is what they will rely on, stand on, go to, hold onto whenever it is needed.

Remember your free-flowing child that you are raising will carry their foundation into their adulthood and then begin building their own foundation with their own bricks. You are raising an adult. It is very important to never forget this fact.

These are tools to help form and mold your child's foundation.

Raising Self-Empowered Thinking Children

(Rachel, Josh, Tony, and Sarah; holiday get-together, Rachel helping Tony get ready for Halloween,
Family gathering during summer, Tony's birthday)

While raising our kids with the mindset of conscious parenting we purposely chose to teach them in a manner of thinking which enabled them to be self-empowered in their own thinking.  As we were fully aware we were raising adults and they would not be children forever. Everyday choices are a part of our society and soon would be theirs. As we guided them through their childhood and through their teenage years we were always focused on enhancing their already awakened intuitive skills.

Are You Parenting From The Past?

Are you willing to take a hard look at your parenting skills and the way you discipline your child?

Have you ever thought about where your parenting beliefs come from? The ways we discipline our children have been passed down from grandparents to parents and then to us. Some parenting practices go back several generations. Societal beliefs also shape each decade.

How do you feel about the way you were disciplined as a child?
Have you ever explored these feelings? There is much value in this exploration.
Are you parenting from the past?

A Successful tool we have used was to grab a piece of paper and pen. Draw a line down the middle of the paper. On top of the page write mom/dad. Write pros' on one side and con's on the other. Now start listing what you liked and didn't like. This is where the intentional Conscious Parenting begins.

(This is an example, no references to anyone in particular)

By the choices that you make you help shape your child's well being. Choose wisely someday they may quite possible be passing on these beliefs onto your grandchildren.

Here is a good time to break any chains that need to be broken. It does not matter if you have a baby on the way or if your child is 10 or seventeen. It's never to late to change.

Since no other journey is able to evoke more emotional reactivity in us than parenting, to be a parent invites us to treat the reactions our children trigger in us as opportunities for spiritual growth. ~ Shefali Tsabary, PhD
