Next Live Author Chat Is With Dr. Shefali Tsabary 3/29/11 9PM Eastern

"Our children won't stay around us forever but will soon move on to their own lives. It's during the few short years we have them to ourselves that we can help them awaken to the fullness within them, because it's into this inner cup that they will dip when they are alone at college and under pressure, in a relationship and struggling with intimacy, or in a financial crunch and anxious. To prepare them for this, their spirit needs to be nourished on a daily basis." ~ Dr. Shefali Tsabary The Conscious Parent  Transforming Ourselves Empowering Our Children

My top five favorite messages from The Conscious Parent.
1. I really loved that throughout The Conscious Parent, Shefali reaffirms the processof parenting and life is more important than the outcome.
2. Your unconsciousness isn't your children's to inherit: it is yours to excavate. Being a conscious parent means you are increasingly aware of your unconsciousness as it arises in day to day situations.
3. Shefali demonstrates through her own experiences how to honor your children for their essential qualities such as joy, peace, authenticity, courage and trust.
4. By being fully present with your child, you learn how to make the simple moments count.
5. Shefali shows you how through your children you can learn how to really live, meet your children as they are being to being!

Help your children connect to the energies that connect us all!

"Tonight, sit with your child and help them connect to the energies that connect us all. Children in hospitals, another by their mother's grave, another heart broken by a bully. Our pain is what connects us all. Let your child sit with you and learn to open their hearts to the energy within. Teach them to send this energy from deep within. Let them know that they can use their energy to connect & heal. Without a dime."  ~ Dr. Shefali Tsabary

Elders Prayer For The Healing And Care Of Our Mother Earth.

Gregg Braden posted this beautiful prayer on Facebook. I wanted to share it with you.

In the wake of the crisis in Japan, let's take a moment to feel healing and peace to our world: Elders Prayer for the Healing & Care of our Mother Earth

"We give thanks to you, our Creator, (or Source name) for all the wonderful gifts you have bestowed upon us. We are grateful to you for helping us endure as long as we have on our beloved Mother Earth. At this time of critical change, Creator, we ask you to help each one of us gain the understanding and wisdom we need to heal, to love one another, and to finally realize peace. We ask you to help each one of us become more aware of our responsibilities in caring for all life on this beautiful planet.

Creator, we know deep inside that we are a part of you and all creation. We want to take back our roles as caretakers of our planet. We want to open our hearts to honoring, respecting and caring for our natural environment. The global warming that is occurring all over the Earth is a blessed wake-up call. It is time to make a more loving, compassionate, thriving, vibrant world. Together, we can restore the integrity and healing powers of our water, air, and land to build a sustainable future for our children. Together, we can do this as One family working in unison to fulfill our purpose on this Earth.

Creator, we are grateful to be as one heart with you in this very special moment. We thank you again for giving us your love, your wisdom and your joy."

Aloha a me ka maluhia (love and peace),
Woody Vaspra

"As you read or watch the news, remember that your life purpose is to send prayers, love, and light to situations . . . and not to add fear or worry energy to the world."  ~ Doreen Virtue

NO EXCUSES! How what you say can get in your way children's picture book review and giveaway

From the New York Times best-selling authors Dr. Wayne W. Dyer with Kristina Tracy

No Excuses! How what you say can get in your way is one of the first books of its kind in the children's book world that teaches kids how to stop making excuses and follow their dreams.

Sometimes comments made by family, peers and acquaintances can innocently become an excuse and can create a conclusion in child's mind. No Excuses! provides the answer on how to look to where excuses come from. "Themselves".

No Excuses shows the child how they can spot an excuse, take a good look at how it was created and what they can do to make their excuse powerless.

Throw away the excuse and your limitless!

Dr. Wayne Dyer is world famous for teaching life changing spiritual tools. Kristina Tracy has co-authored several children's spiritual picture books.

Life is a Journey By Bill King

Life is a Journey

Earlier today I was watching a YouTube Video of Srikumar Rao and he was discussing how to be happy.
He went on to state that we often put all our efforts in the outcome instead of the process.  But the interesting point is that we do not have control over the outcomes.  However, we do have control over the actions we take.  It is when we give our best at achieving what we want, more often than not, we will have a positive outcome.

Life is a journey.  Everything we do, see, and including what we think is a journey.  If you are at work complaining about your job, that is a journey.  If you watch 2-3 hours of television, that too is a journey.
The biggest question to ask yourself,
“Is this the journey I want.”

Once we start making different choices in what we think, what we say and what we do, we are almost guaranteed to experience more outcomes that are to our liking.
With peace and gratitude, Bill
