Thoughts and emotions have a huge impact on our bodies.
Raising children in an intentional inspired way is fast becoming a goal of many parents.
Parenting is not an easy job but in my opinion it's the best job anyone could ever have. The children of today are the future of tomorrow. Today we have so many more tools available and so much more knowledge than when our parents were raising us. Such as the fact that our thoughts and emotions have a huge impact on our bodies. Author Dr. Bruce Lipton's research shows that genes and DNA do not control our biology; that instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell, including the energetic messages emanating from our positive and negative thoughts. Teaching children how to connect with what they are feeling is a valuable tool. So much of our society is based on shutting down our feelings and just dealing with life. That old saying "Just suck it up" can come back to haunt you. This can be a very harsh way of being. When we don't work through our feelings and emotions we can easily bury them inside our bodies and not even realize it creating many health problems later.

(RE)Connecting with Your Teen on Spring Break
Spring break is here and that means family trips. If you're like many parents, you've been busy with your job, your kids' activities, your partner and your aging parents. It's easy to forget that you are raising teens, and taking everyone on a family vacation may be more challenging than you expected. Teens aren't the easiest to travel with. They have an attitude over things that may not have concerned them before; they insult under their breath; and often they melt into screaming, slamming doors and tears. It can make living with them trying, but traveling with them can push you over the edge. |

What vibration are you offering?
Unless you do something about your vibrational countenance, nothing can change. Nothing long term will change, that's certain... Haven't you noticed that a new disease pops up, and humanity finds the cure, only to find another disease popping up? Don't you think it's interesting that you don't get to the end of those diseases? The reason you don't, is because you have not yet come to the end of pushing against things.

The Necessity of a Meditation Practice for the Parents of Children with Challenges or Special Needs.
I am the mother of a child with special needs. My young teenage daughter was born with pachygyria, which basically means her brain decided to be structurally different from the norm. In the old days she probably would have been labeled "retarded" (what a word, huh?!) and in a sense, that is what her brain did – it didn't advance fully.
My day-to-day equates to extensive learning delays and intense mood swings carried off by a normal looking kid. So, as I write to you... know that I GET IT. Having a child on a different path creates challenges and ups and downs like you would never believe. Right?! Not just for that child but also for you as a parent, or if you are a sibling, grandparent, educator, medical professional, etc.

Nightly Affirmation For Adults
One of the things we like to do before drifting off to sleep is settling into our beds and getting quiet within ourselves. We have a nightly ritual of clearing our minds, sending back any energy we collected during the day from everyone we came in contact with including removing any hooks or negative energy we may have also picked up unintentionally. We go through everything we are grateful for, clearing with techniques gained from Ho'oponopono and fill ourselves with gratitude. Then we visual how we would like tomorrow to go. Understanding we are co-creators with spirit we know how powerful this is. We then think in our minds a few affirmations and then drift to sleep.
The above affirmation is meant to be a guide on getting you started with your nightly positive thought process.
What do you do to relax your mind before bed? Do you have any rituals or techniques you'd like to share?

Nightly Affirmation For Children
How your children enter their sleep world is just as important as how they begin their day.
Here is an affirmation to say with them out loud before they go to bed.
The above affirmation is intended to get you started. Add in what else your children would like to say. This is also a good time to reflect back on the day and state out loud all the things you are grateful for.
